Red Octopus Theater Presents ”Kimberly Akimbo” - June 19th, 2010 by playwright David Lindsay-Abaire. A lonely teenage girl suffering from a rare condition that causes her to age faster then normal. Trapped inside the frail body she meets another misfit (a teenage boy) and the two form an attraction for each other. Kimberly reevaluates her life and family, a hypochondriac mother, a rarely sober father, scam artist aunt, all mixed up in crazy schemes, as she contemplates the possibility of first love. WARNING: Contains Adult Language.
